With the introduction of compostable capsules, Di Cosola Caffè Srl through its suppliers thought about the end of the life cycle of the product. Until now in the linear model production-consumption-disposal, the waste was started in landfill or incinerated. The compostable capsule instead allows the refusal to return to be a resource for the environment: after being collected and started at industrial composting, the capsule and coffee become compost, that is, natural fertilizer for the soil.
